VoltPlan
ClaudecommunityPlan 12V/24V/48V electrical systems for campers, boats and off-grid builds: wiring diagrams, wire gauge, battery bank, solar and inverter sizing.
YuzuHub UG
VoltPlan brings DC electrical system planning for camper vans, RVs, boats and off-grid cabins into Claude. Describe your loads, batteries and charging sources, and Claude can size the system and draw the wiring diagram for you. Tools: - Power budget: daily energy use (Wh/Ah), peak and average power from a list of loads - Battery bank sizing: required capacity and number of batteries based on days of autonomy and depth of discharge (LiFePO4, AGM, gel) - Battery configuration: series/parallel layout (e.g. 2S2P) with step-by-step wiring instructions - Solar sizing: required panel wattage from peak sun hours and system losses - Charging time: bulk and absorption estimate for solar, shore power or alternator charging - Inverter sizing: continuous and surge rating for AC loads, plus the resulting DC current draw - Wire gauge: cable cross-section from 0.75 to 240 mm² (18 AWG to 300 MCM) based on ampacity and voltage drop, with a fuse recommendation - Wiring diagram: a schematic of batteries, chargers, loads and auto-generated protection (shunt, main switch, low-voltage cutoff), with a link to open it in the VoltPlan editor, refine it and turn it into a shopping list No account required. Built by the team behind voltplan.app, the free 12V wiring diagram planner. The MCP server is open source. Results are planning aids. Have safety-critical installations checked by a qualified electrician.
