L’Étape du Tour de France 2025, every split of every rider
Albertville → La Plagne, 131 km and five timed climbs to a summit finish. This explorer indexes the full timing data of the race — 13,649 finishers from 56 countries timed on 10 mats along the course, climb-by-climb leaderboards — beyond what the official results page shows.
Every classified rider has a page: splits, checkpoint ranks, climb times vs. the field.

When did the field finish?
Finish times in 5-minute buckets, from 4:25:17 to 12:50:00 — the median rider reached the summit in 8:13:11.
The front of the race 🐎
Riders move along the real course profile, positions interpolated between the timing mats from their split times.
The five fastest finishers, moving along the real course at their own recorded splits. Five rather than ten: more dots than that and the front of the race reads as one smear.

Rankings at every checkpoint
The course had 11 timing mats — who led the race at each one, and how the field spread out along the course. Mats occasionally miss a rider, which is why some rider pages show “mat missed” on a segment.

The finish time is read off the real 2026 results curve (interpolated between sampled places — measured worst case 14 s on a six-hour time). The section times are the median of the eleven riders who finished within five places of 100 overall, so they are what people around that place actually rode, not a model of how to pace it. They will not add up to the finish time: a median per section is not one rider’s race, and on some courses the timed sections do not cover every kilometre.

The first-name championship
The ranking nobody asked for: which first name brought the most finishers to the summit finish at La Plagne.
About this project and its data. The results are Sport Innovation / TimeTo’s — the official timekeeper of the event. They were fetched once after the event and republished here with segment times, recomputed leaderboards and a page per athlete that the official results do not offer. The timing is their work; the analysis is mine, and any mistake in it is mine too. Course details come from L’Étape du Tour, the organiser. Times are chip times. That is not taken from the timing system’s own
usesRealTimeRanking
flag, which says otherwise for this race: sorting the field by chip time reproduces the published general ranking for 100.0% of riders, and by gun time for 0.4%. Athletes who asked to be anonymous in the official results stay anonymous here.
