FindLocal gives Claude current, hyper-local event listings: concerts, author readings, film screenings, talks, classes, trivia nights, open mics, storytimes and outdoor programs. It covers 83 US metro areas plus London. Listings come straight from venues' own calendars (theaters, bookstores, libraries, bars, breweries, parks, music rooms), not from ticket resellers. They're refreshed several times a week, and edited or cancelled events are removed on the next update. You can ask in plain language, like "free things to do in Boston this weekend", "jazz in Chicago Friday night" or "author events near Cambridge next week". Claude can filter by city and neighborhood, date or time of day, category, price (including free only), performer or author, and keyword. It can also look up a venue and its upcoming calendar. Results include the date and time, venue and address, price, a description, performers, an image and the venue's own event or ticket link. The connector is read-only. It never books, buys or changes anything. Sign-in is OAuth with a FindLocal API key: the Free plan includes 100 calls a month, and paid plans start at $9/month. Developers can also use it to explore the FindLocal REST API, get docs and ready-to-run setup snippets, and check their usage. It also powers many agents and dev projects, maybe it can power yours!
