Net — the result
the ranked time

Every rank on this site is on NET time — the official basis, gross minus both neutralisation credits. The gross chip time (what the rider’s own computer showed) is shown next to it where it is useful, but sorting the field on it produces 2,457 disagreements with the published ranking, so it never ranks anything here.

Heads-up on the diploma: the time printed on it is Alexandre’s correct net time, but the position baked into that PDF is a rank by gross time — it disagrees with the official classification for 4,967 of the 5,005 finishers. The rank on this page is the official one.

Room to improve: the biggest loss against the field median was on La Grave → Pied de l'Alpe 29:30 slower than the median rider.

Race position at every mat

overall rank at each timing mat, in course order (up = better)

Mats are evenly spaced, not placed by distance — the two neutralised sections would otherwise appear as a vertical jump, since no time passes across them.

“Top %” = section rank as a share of the riders timed on it. Seven sections cover 157 of the 177 km; the missing 20 km are the two neutralised stretches, which cannot be ranked because in net time they take no time at all.

“Since previous” is net time between consecutive mats, so the two neutralised stretches read neutralised rather than 0:00 — and no km/h is computed across them, because dividing a real distance by zero seconds has no answer. The timekeeper publishes its own course kilometres for eleven of the twelve mats ("39km Glandon"), so distances here are measured, not interpolated — they are integers, so read ±0.5 km into each. The one exception is the preview mat: its label says km 176, but it sits a median of 22.7 seconds before the line — about 50 metres — so it is placed at 176.95 and marked ≈.
