Forget categories. Which first name brought the most riders round the 185.6 km and over the line — and which one got there quickest? It is the one classification of 2023 you could improve by deed poll. With 51 nationalities in the results, it is as much a map of Europe as a leaderboard.

Roadworks made the Glandon descent unrideable, so 2023 climbed the Col de la Croix de Fer and took in the Col du Mollard twice — 185.6 km with three neutralised descents instead of two. No time on this page compares with any other edition.

Every first name in the field has a page, not just the 150 below. Accent variants are merged, so “frederic” finds the Frédérics too.
