Clipkit

Clipkit gives Claude a complete video toolbox built on the Clipkit Protocol — an open, documented JSON format for describing videos (scenes, text, shapes, images, audio, animations, captions, charts). What Claude can do with it: • Compose: build a video as a structured JSON document from your brief — layouts, animated text, images, charts, transitions, captions. • Edit: make precise, targeted changes to an existing composition without rewriting it. • Validate & lint: check a composition against the protocol schema and get actionable fixes, so what Claude authors actually renders. • Preview: render single frames as images to check the result mid-conversation. • Continue in the editor: every composition opens as a link in Clipkit's free, no-login browser editor, where you can fine-tune on a timeline and export the finished MP4 — rendered in your browser on WebGPU at no cost. Clipkit is deterministic rendering infrastructure, not an AI media generator. No AI model generates images, video, or audio: Claude authors a structured document, and the Clipkit engine renders exactly what the document specifies — the same input produces the same video, every time. Think of it as charts-and-diagrams tooling extended to full motion video. Typical uses: turning notes or transcripts into short explainer videos, product and feature announcements, social clips with animated captions, data visualizations in motion, title cards and intros. The protocol and tooling are open source (github.com/clipkit-video/clipkit), the format is fully documented, and no account is required to compose, preview, or render in the browser.
